So we stand now at the stable door in this advent as we prepare to celebrate Christ's birth and await in joyful expectancy His glorious return. Let us offer our Fiat (yes) as gift alongside the shepherds' song and the kings' treasure laid at the feet of Mary, the Mother of God, that she might present them for us to her Son, our Lord and King, the infant Christ! Glory be to God in the highest! Teach us, Mary, to love Jesus as you love Jesus-may our lives echo your "FIAT!"
